Gwasanaeth Cerdd Ysgolion has been providing vocal and instrumental music lessons to children and young people in Gwynedd and Anglesey since 1996. Now there are over 3,000 pupils across both counties who receive weekly lessons in their schools by a team of around 50 qualified and experienced tutors.
We visit the majority of schools in Gwynedd and Anglesey and can offer lessons in most orchestral and band instruments.

Usually there are 30 lessons during the school year. Our tutors schedule lessons during school hours and aim to vary the times so that pupils do not miss the same school lessons every week. The length of a session will depend on the school, but usually at primary school they last about 15 minutes and 20 minutes to half an hour at secondary school.
Ask at your school, and tell them that you would like your child to receive instrumental or vocal lessons. They will then arrange for a tutor to come to the school for a further discussion. Alternatively, please call us for information about how to organise lessons on 01286 685283 or email us at post@cerdd.com.
The cost varies from school to school, usually the fee is between £25 and £60 per term. Please ask the music department at your school or your head teacher for more information.
